Why Choose Accelerated?

  1. Accelerated is the only alcohol treatment facility in North America that exclusively treats alcohol dependence. Our clients are not forced into treatment with, nor are they forced to LIVE with opiate, stimulant or process addicts. This eliminates a significant barrier to entry: fear.
  2. Accelerated’s clients spend, on average, 80% less time away from home, family and career. For Mild cases, 5 days vs. 30 days. For Moderate cases, 12 days vs. 60 days. And for Severe cases, 19 days vs. 90 days.
  3. Accelerated exclusively works with “treatment seeking” individuals. We do not accept court ordered individuals (who represent up to 65% of the population of other treatment centers) or others that are forced into treatment without proper motivation.
  4. 100% of Accelerated clients stay in private, luxurious accommodations. Our clients are never subjected to sharing living quarters with strangers.
  5. Accelerated not only allows but encourages clients to bring laptops, tablets, cell phones and family members with them during intensive treatment. Accelerated is not an institutional environment focused on indoctrination. We intentionally try to create a real world treatment environment while mitigating the risk of continued drinking. And our clients appreciate our approach.
  6. Accelerated is not a 12 step program. Our research, evidence, medicine and science based programs are literally 75 years ahead of the 12 Step industry.
  7. Accelerated’s differential diagnosis process covers; genetic, neurological, biological, psychological, social and family systems assessments. Personalized treatment is provided in each of these areas.
  8. Accelerated exclusively employs experienced, licensed clinicians, not lay people, paraprofessionals or former addicts with “certificates” to practice.
  9. Accelerated treats people privately and individually, not in group environments. We provide over 75 hours of licensed clinical care (more than any other treatment center) vs. almost zero one-to-one care in 12 Step treatment programs. 30% of our clinical work is targeted specifically at family members and in particular significant others (a true key to success).
  10. Accelerated continues to support our clients and their families minimally for six months after the intensive portion of our treatment program using secure video conferencing and other methods. Our staff is on call to our clients 24/7/365 during that time.
